Traineeship at Exact Invest

My name is Rosângela and is in a traineeship at Exact Invest

My name is Rosângela and has lived in Denmark for the last 12 years and I am the mother of beautiful 12-years-old Victoria. I have previously worked as a postman in 9 months at Hobro Post Office, in order to become better integrated into the Danish society, I decided to study in Denmark and to join Hobro Volleyball Club.

I am originally born and raised in a Brazilian Archipelago of Fernando de Noronha (FN). The last time I visited the island was in July-August 2013 related to my thesis. I had to collect interview data on the island to write about sustainable tourism and development between the local community, private enterprise and the government in Fernando de Noronha.

Fernando de Noronha is comprised of 21 small islands of volcanic origin, which was formed about 2 million years ago with a total area of 26 km2. The archipelago is located in the Atlantic Ocean about 360 miles northeast from Natal, 545 km from Recife and 710 km from Fortaleza. The main island has an area of approximately 17 km2 and a population estimated at 4.500. FN's capital city is Vila dos Remédios and is located on the northeastern part of the island. Since 1988, 70% of the islands were established as a Marine National Park and in 2001 UNESCO designated FN as a World Heritage Site. The world's most beautiful beach is located on FN, Baia do Sancho, according to TripAdvisor 2014, and Brazil's most beautiful beaches. In the crystal clear water that always is around 24 degrees, you can see hundreds of spinner dolphins, sea turtles and countless fish and coral species. FN is without doubt one of the world's best dive destinations and the best place to dive in Brazil.

I got the traineeship as a communications officer at Exact Invest where I was well received. Here I have met some interesting challenges in relation to the activities in Brazil. I am sure that my traineeship will give me a good insight into the Danish working culture. I have always wanted to work in an office in a company with contact to Brazil. This I have tried to create by the conditions of my education as BA and MA in Brazilian Studies at Aarhus University. I am currently in the process of going to the exams at CBS - Copenhagen Business School to become a certified translator and interpreter in Portuguese. I expect to be graduated in the summer of 2015.
